It's essential to understand that nodes with more stake do not generate more rewards for you. They have to distribute their rewards among more nominator stakes, so the reward-per-staked-AZERO is the same between big nodes and smaller nodes. There is no advantage in nominating to a node with a larger stake.
However, nodes with higher owner stakes could be generally considered as somewhat less likely to get slashed, as a node operator trying to cheat with the consensus would probably risk as small an amount of their own money as possible.
To switch nominating your stake to VELOCITY-VALIDATOR.COM, follow these steps:
Case A:
If you have 2000 or more AZEROs:
1. Visit azero.dev
2. Navigate to Network → Staking → Accounts
3. Ensure that the ✓ Stashed button is selected in the top left corner (which is the default setting)
4. Click the vertical Nominate button right to your stash wallet
5. In the right side of the popup window, click on your current validator to remove it
6. On the left side of the popup window, click on VELOCITY-VALIDATOR.COM
7. Press the Nominate button
8. Allow an era for your changes to take effect
Case B:
If you have less than 2000 AZEROs:
1. Visit azero.dev
2. Go to Network → Staking → Pools
3. Make sure the ✓ All pools button is selected on the top left (that's the default setting)
4. In this list, find VELOCITY-VALIDATOR.COM
5. Click on the + Join button right to our pool
6. Enter the amount of AZEROs you want to nominate through our pool
7. Click on the Join button in the bottom right corner of this popup window
For Example:
If you stake 2000 AZERO with a 12% annual yield (APY), the estimated annual yield of staking you receive is 240 AZERO (including commission), which represents your annual yield before we deduct our commission. Our commission rate is 5%, so your annual yield after we deduct our commission is: 228 AZERO x 2.00 USD (example current price) = 456.00 USD
